After 14 years of working as a Television Producer for MTV, VH-1, The Academy Awards, The Howard Stern Show, E! Entertainment Networks and a host of others, Michele left television for a career as a Special Effects Costume and Prop Artist for film, stage and television in Hollywood, California, where she discovered her love of airbrushing. Her costume and prop work has appeared in the major motion pictures "Flags of Our Fathers" and "The Women", in television shows "General Hospital" and "24", in television commercials for Subway and Walgreens, and in stage and ice shows, notably "Little Shop of Horrors", "The Wiz" and Disney's "Monsters on Ice." Actors Kiefer Sutherland, Chris Kattan, and singer Natalie Cole have all commissioned her costume artwork.
The costumes, props and artwork you see on this page were made and airbrushed by Michele!
In 2007, she returned home to her native Staten Island, where she learned to apply her airbrush and costume knowledge to her own line of airbrush clothing and accessories. She has been airbrushing custom clothing, props and murals for parties, dance companies, sports teams, and a broad range of clientele including corporate clients Home Depot, Swatch, Showtime, Footlocker, American Eagle/Aerie, Panera Bread, Smirnoff, ARSN the Label, and Schutz Shoes.
